After chemo treatment, it can indeed take years until you feel alive again... with side effects of chemo and radiation, you will never be 100 % because your immune system is weak
I have so far survived my "terminal" cancer using alternative health and never looked back or used traditional medicine since 1997 when they (my oncology doctors) told me there was nothing more they could do for me and I might live for 3 more weeks. Guess who was wrong?
